Films I've been meaning to see:
Drugstore Cowboy

My Own Private Idaho - My girlfriend keeps praising this movie. Just haven't gotten around to Netflixing it.

Safe

The Limey

Russian Ark - I actually have this one at home right now. Need to throw it in the DVD player.

United 93 - I read an MA Thesis on United 93 which made it sound really interesting and worth watching.

Films I was really happy to see on your list:

City of God

All the Real Girls - You need to see Shotgun Stories when it comes out on DVD. Trust me on this one.

Oldboy - I took a friend to see this thinking he would love it as much as I did...nope. Now he refuses to trust me on foreign films, haha.

George Washington - Once again, make sure you see Shotgun Stories.

Unbreakable - One of the most underrated films of the last fifteen years.

Waiting for Guffman - CLASSIC!

Short Cuts

Au Revoir, Les Enfants - I just watched this last week and it blew me away. It was insanely good. Have you also seen To Be and To Have? You might want to check that out too.

Scott, all great choices, I assure you. It's been a long time since I saw Au Revoir, Les Enfants. But man, that's a powerful ending. I remember it well.

Another film that escaped my thought process: John Boorman's Hope and Glory. Oh well, the pie is already cooked. Maybe La Femme Nikita.

Thank you for the visit.
