The San Francisco Film Critics Circle have
announced their year-end awards. I for one say, Hats Off. Although, maybe it's more a case of, Pants Off. In a city known for denizens showing their cajones in public, the critics publicly displayed theirs by naming the year's most clear masterpiece
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford as their Best Picture. In the next week or two, I plan to oh so evilly slowly reveal my Top 10 list, and you should expect that film to be near the top. A great, great film that was even better the second time I saw it than the first.
